Chad (middle), a UNC-G Dean's List student and who has assisted us in our lab throughout the past two summers, recently earned all-tournament honors as the (tallest at 6'5") goalee for the Spartans' soccer team! We are proud of you, Chad!

In 1995, after Drs. James and Mark Kaley faced the devastation of their wife and mother, Martha, being diagnosed with breast cancer that was discovered accidentally, the Kaley family founded Friends For An Earlier Breast Cancer Test. The single mission of Friends is to support new, innovative research to identify a BIOLOGICAL test that would detect the presence of breast cancer far earlier than is now available, possibly before a tumor has even formed.
